COPIAH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Residential Substance Abuse Counselor
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of the consumers. Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals experiencing chemical dependency and provide direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meeting and treatment planning.

ICort Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, immediate emergency crisis intervention services, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of the consumers.  The ICort Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meeting and treatment planning.

ICort Peer Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Ms. driver’s license.  The ICort Peer Support Specialist will provide face to face interventions to consumers.  Coordinate with the treatment team to provide opportunities for consumers to direct their own recovery process and provide resources to help achieve their goals.  Participate in monthly meetings.

Mental Health Therapist/ Suicide Screener

Part Time Children’s PRT
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Drivers License.  Duties will include but are not limited to the operation of a 15 passenger van to transport the children from the Children’s Day Treatment facility.  The Children’s PRT assists the Behavioral Specialist with the daily classroom activities and transport according to routes and time schedules.

House Manager- Full/Part Time- Monday-Friday and Weekend Shifts
Candidates must possess a High School diploma plus previous experience working with individuals in treatment for substance related disorders. Duties will include assisting the residential treatment center Director during an 8 hour period to maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff and individuals participating in services.

MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Mental Health Therapist/ Suicide Screener
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, immediate emergency crisis intervention services, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of the consumers.  The Mental Health Therapist/ Suicide Screener provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meeting and treatment planning.

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Vocational Training Instructor
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Duties will include the operation of a 15 passanger van to transport individuals to and from the facilities . The VTI participates in daily activities with individuals and transports according to routes and time schedules.

Peer Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Ms. driver’s license. School-Based Registered Nurses
Candidates must possess a Board License as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Candidates will work directly with Region 8 clients and students in the Rankin County School District.  Duties include, but may not be limited to, medication monitoring and administration, general nursing services, mental health screenings, assessments and referrals.  Region 8 is offering this position as either a 10-month position that works during the school year or a 12-month position.

Community Living Registered Nurse
Candidates must possess a Board License as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi. Duties will include crisis assessment and intervention and medication management assisting in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

Candidates must possess a Board Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Duties will include assisting Psychiatrist and Physician in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

Crisis Technician- Full/Part Time- Monday-Friday and Weekend Shifts
Candidates must posses High School Diploma or GED.  And a valid Mississippi Drivers License.  Duties will include assisting consumers in all areas of physical care and assisting with daily program activities, general housekeeping assignments and food preparation.  And all other duties assigned by Supervisor.
