COPIAH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Crisis Intervention/Prevention Specialist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, provide immediate emergency crisis intervention services, group and individual intervention/prevention and make adequate referrals.  The Crisis Intervention/Prevention Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of consumers. The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Full Time/Part Time -House Manager
Candidates must possess a High School diploma plus previous experience working with individuals in treatment for substance related disorders. Duties will include assisting the residential treatment center Director during an 8 hour period to maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff and individuals participating in services. Candidates must be able to pass medical physical.

Intensive Outpatient Counselor
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, development and implementation of treatment plan.   The Intensive Outpatient Counselor provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Community Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include obtaining pertinent data of consumers to determine service needed and to make adequate referral and insure services are provided.  The Community Support Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings.

Part Time Children’s PRT
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Drivers License.  Duties will include but are not limited to the operation of a 15 passenger van to transport the children from the Children’s Day Treatment facility.  The Children’s PRT assists the Behavioral Specialist with the daily classroom activities and transport according to routes and time schedules.

 

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of consumers. The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Substance Abuse & Recovery Support Counselor
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in a mental health related field and have experience in the treatment of substance abuse. Duties will include seeking referrals, providing education and prevention programs to the community.  Conduct Support Groups after completion of treatment.  Provide direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

LINCOLN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER 

Vocational Training Instructor
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License.  Must also have a TB Skin Test prior to employment.  Applicants will be subject to a Criminal Background investigation.  Duties include but are not limited to transporting consumers to and from the facilities in a 15 passenger van, supervision of consumers in a pre-vocational setting, and inspection, inventory, and maintenance of equipment and supplies in assigned areas.  Documentation of daily activities will also be necessary.

LINCOLN COUNTY BROOKHAVEN CRISIS STABILIZATION UNIT

Crisis Residential Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake/assessment interviews, perform individual and group therapy sessions at the Crisis Center.  The Crisis Residential Therapist provides direct therapeutic support to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Part Time/Full Time- Registered Nurse
Candidates must possess a Board Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Duties will include assisting Psychiatrist and Physician in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

Part Time/Full Time -Crisis Tech II
Candidates must posses High School Diploma.  Duties include assisting consumers in all areas of physical care and assisting with daily program activities, general housekeeping assignments and food preparation and service. And all other duties assigned by Supervisor.

 SIMPSON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Substance Abuse Residential Counselor
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field, LPC or LMFT preferred.  Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals experiencing chemical dependency and possess knowledge of residential chemical dependence management, objectives and operations shall have the ability to work in a comprehensive program.
