COPIAH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Community Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include obtaining pertinent data of consumers to determine service needed and to make adequate referral and to insure services are provided. The Community Support Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings
Part-Time/Contractual Children’s PRT
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Duties will include program activities with children and operation of a bus or van to transport children to and from day treatment programs
Contractual House Manager
Candidates must possess a High School diploma plus previous experience working with individuals in treatment for substance related disorders. Duties will include assisting the residential treatment Center Director to maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff and individuals participating in services. Candidates must be able to pass medical physical.
MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Mississippi. Candidates must have a valid drivers license and use of an automobile for travel within the catchment area. Candidates must pass a criminal background investigation.
Primary responsibilities include conducting individual assessments, medication evaluation, and emergency services, formulate long-range treatment and individual care plans to any individual receiving services in the Region 8 Mental Health’s catchment area.

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of consumers. The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.
