COPIAH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Community Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include obtaining pertinent data of individuals receiving services to determine service needed and to make adequate referral and to insure services are provide.  The Community Support Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings.

Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of the consumers.  The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meeting and treatment planning.

Part Time Children’s PRT
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Drivers License.  Duties will include but are not limited to the operation of a 15 passenger van to transport the children from the Children’s Day Treatment facility.  The Children’s PRT assists the Behavioral Specialist with the daily classroom activities and transport according to routes and time schedules.

House Manager- Full Time/ Part Time
Candidates must possess a High School diploma plus previous experience working with individuals in treatment for substance related disorders. Duties will include assisting the residential treatment center Director during an 8 hour period to maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff and individuals participating in services.

Maintenance Technician
Candidates must possess a Vocational or Technical certification and 1 or 2 years experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade. Duties will include performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety of facilities, equipment and vehicles. Manages work orders and routine maintenance schedules by completing and providing required written information weekly summaries, work orders, maintenance logs; complying with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines; ensuring quality work is completed that complies with federal, state, and local regulations and codes; unloading and storing equipment; and transporting equipment between facilities.

MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Adult Psychosocial Rehabilitation Technician
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Duties will include the operation of a van to transport individuals to and from the Adult PSR Program. The Adult PRT participates in daily activities with individuals and transports according to routes and time schedules.

Registered Nurse
Candidates must possess a Board License as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi. Duties will include assisting Psychiatrist and Physician in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

School-Based Registered Nurses
Candidates must possess a Board License as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Candidates will work directly with Region 8 clients and students in the Rankin County School District.  Duties include, but may not be limited to, medication monitoring and administration, general nursing services, mental health screenings, assessments and referrals.  Region 8 is offering this position as either a 10-month position that works during the school year or a 12-month position.

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field.  Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of the consumers. Services will include crisis assessment and intervention; symptom assessment management; medication management; co-occurring substance abuse services; activities of daily living; peer support services and education, support and consultation to family and other major supports.

LINCOLN COUNTY BROOKHAVEN CRISIS STABILIZATION UNIT

Registered Nurse- Full Time/ Part Time
Candidates must possess a Board Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Duties will include assisting Psychiatrist and Physician in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

Crisis Technician- Full Time/ Part Time
Candidates must posses High School Diploma or GED.  And a valid Mississippi Drivers License.  Duties will include assisting consumers in all areas of physical care and assisting with daily program activities, general housekeeping assignments and food preparation.  And all other duties assigned by Supervisor.

 SIMPSON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Part Time Children’s PRT

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field, LPC or LMFT preferred. Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals experiencing chemical dependency and possess knowledge of residential chemical dependence management, objectives and operations shall have the ability to work in a comprehensive program.
