COPIAH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

House Manager
Candidates must possess a High School diploma plus previous experience working with individuals in treatment for substance related disorders. Duties will include assisting the residential treatment center director during an 8 hour period to maintain satisfactory working relationships with staff and individuals participating in services. Candidates must be able to pass medical physical.

 

MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of consumers. The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Secretary/Receptionist

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and 2 years of work related experience. Duties will include typing, computer, and other clerical tasks.  Must have ability to operate and maintain control of the Center’s phone system.  Must have ability to record and maintain files in keeping with the center policies.

Adult Psychosocial Rehabilitation Technician

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Duties will include the operation of a van to transport individuals to and from the Adult PSR Program. The Adult PRT participates in daily activities with individuals and transports according to routes and time schedules.

 

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

 Part-Time/Contractual Children’s PRT

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Duties will include program activities with children and operation of a bus or van to transport children to and from day treatment programs.

Community Support Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include obtaining pertinent data of consumers to determine service needed and to make adequate referral and to insure services are provided. The Community Support Specialist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings.

 

LINCOLN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER 

 Mental Health Therapist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or mental health related field. Duties will include conducting intake evaluations, counseling sessions, ensuring the proper routing of services for the benefit of consumers. The Mental Health Therapist provides direct services to individuals and participates in the center programs such as staff meetings and treatment planning.

Vocational Training Instructor

Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent and a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Must also have a TB Skin Test prior to employment. Applicants will be subject to a Criminal Background investigation. Duties include but are not limited to transporting consumers to and from the facilities in a 15 passenger van, supervision of consumers in a pre-vocational setting, and inspection, inventory, and maintenance of equipment and supplies in assigned areas. Documentation of daily activities will also be necessary.

LINCOLN COUNTY BROOKHAVEN CRISIS STABILIZATION UNIT

Full Time/ContractualCrisis Technician II
Candidates must posses High School Diploma.  Duties include assisting consumers in all areas of physical care and assisting with daily program activities, general housekeeping assignments and food preparation and service. And all other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Full Time and/Contractual Registered Nurse
Candidates must possess a Board Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi.  Duties will include assisting Psychiatrist and Physician in medical evaluation’s, provide medication education and monitoring of physical problems for consumers and any other medical services as directed by a licensed Physician.

 

SIMPSON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
