House Manager

RANKIN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Crisis Intervention/Prevention Specialist
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Psychology or a mental health related field. Must obtain residence within 30 minutes of Rankin County. Duties will include providing immediate emergency crisis intervention services including written assessments. Provide 24-7 telephone access to county for behavioral health crises and provide face to face services as needed during and outside of normal office hours. Management of the clients’ medical records including, but not limited to, completion of all clinical documentation in a timely manner and the development and updating of Individual Service Plans. Providing consultation and education crisis services to the community as needed. Participate in clinical staff meetings, general staff meetings and in-service training.
Billing Department Specialist
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HS Diploma or GED, 1-2+ years related experience in healthcare claims and/or equivalent combination of education and experience and 1-2+years of experience with appeals and denials. And a valid Mississippi Driver’s License. Primary duties include resolve, call and/or appeal a defined number of accounts per day as instructed by leadership. Complete initial reviews as assigned. Draft appeals and letters to insurance companies. Make proper notations in system on all accounts. Understand and utilize payer contracts and provider manuals when disputing denials. Calculate expected claim reimbursement. Follow up on all appeals, claims, letters or other documentation with the insurer. Follow up on all payments at the time an overturn is received. Demonstrate an understanding of office workflow by completing necessary required fields correctly. Use available resources appropriately, including but not limited to training materials, shared drive, team meeting notes, etc. Maintain worklist through daily audits and the open task report. Ensure that all assigned cases have a follow up and that there are no duplicate follow ups. Address all follow ups promptly according to priorities provided by leadership Ensure claim and appeal timeframes are met. Obtain prior approval from a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager for all modifications to a UB-04; including, but not limited to, additions, changes or removals to/from the original claim provided by the facility. Follow all HIPAA guidelines in accordance with Employee Handbook.

School-Based Registered Nurses
Candidates must possess a Board License as a Registered Nurse in Mississippi. Candidates will work directly with Region 8 clients and students in the Rankin County School District. Duties include, but may not be limited to, medication monitoring and administration, general nursing services, mental health screenings, assessments and referrals. Region 8 is offering this position as either a 10-month position that works during the school year or a 12-month position.

LINCOLN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Site Coordinator IDD Services
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years’ work experience in mental health, intellectual developmental disabilities services or related field. Duties will include overseeing day to day operation of planning and promoting, coordinating, and directing activities of staff and consumers. Maintain payroll, production and other reports as required. Consulting with and making recommendations to administrative superiors. Duties will include implementing the daily activities of the program, including intake evaluations, group therapy sessions, individual counseling sessions, discharge planning and treatment planning. Candidates must possess knowledge and skill in applying therapeutic treatment models to treat an individual’s substance abuse issues and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and individuals experiencing chemical dependency.
