Services include short-term counseling, emergency and crisis services, trauma debriefings, marriage counseling, grief counseling, and addictions counseling and treatment. Additional areas of focus of the Employee Assistance Program address stress in the workplace, burn-out, drug-free workplace services, and training for employees and supervisors.

Region 8 also provides depression screenings, educational speakers, provides in-service training to employees on an array of topics, and explains EAP services during employee orientations. Current Region 8 contracts include the Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Mississippi State Hospital.
